Question for Miguel Cotto fans...

For me, it's not even about giving a cheat a payday or any of that crap.

It's more about just moving on and putting it behind him. A lot of **** has happened between then and now, I kind of just say cut your ties, and take advantage of bigger opportunities presenting themselves.

If no other opportunities present themselves, than definitely avenge your loss, but unless he loses to Pac, he's gonna in a position where he doesn't need to fight Margarito again.

To be honest man...and this isn't me not having confidence in my fighter or anything, I'm just bein real....I think Margarito is all wrong for Cotto.

I think Cotto could beat Margarito...I mean he fought the dumbest fight imaginable, and POTENTIALLY against loaded gloves, and still lasted into the 11th with the scores very tight.......he could definitely beat him. I just think it's a bad business move because I honestly feel Margarito's style presents a world of problems for Cotto, plaster or not.

If Cotto loses a big upcoming fight than he should fight Margarito. Otherwise, if I'm an adviser for Cotto, I'm staying away from him.

I completely agree. I view Margarito as Cotto's kriptonite, so to speak. If they fought again it's still a toss up and I think either fighter could take the win. If Cotto is smart he outboxes the **** outa Marg but if he gets lured into the same fight as the first, I see Marg winning.

I say No; IMO it's not a matter of revenge - Margarito shouldn't even be boxing again (because of the Mosley fight not the Cotto fight)

The bottomline: Margarito NEEDS the Cotto rematch - not the other way around... it would be hilarious to listen to Margarito (and his cult) crying for a rematch, call Cotto a coward, etc...even though he won "fair and square"...- let em suffer as Margarito/Cotto I goes down in history with a BIG *

Cotto needs to move on and unify the belts; that should be his focus

Mosley would destroy him again. I doubt they will ever fight again. Marg got annihilated in that fight.
