I'm sorry I can't spend every waking minute on Boxing Scene defending Floyd from the fa.ggots on this site. I have a life, I have friends, I like doing other things than sitting on the net and defending Floyd from the same constant claims his haters throw out.

P Will needs to pick a division stay there grab a belt or two and make some title fights at 154 if he did that over the past year or so he might be able to land a fight with someone for some decent purses....As of right now he brings to little to the negotiation table for any of the top fighters to consider him as a possible opponent. he should fight Clottey at 154....Clottey probably wouldnt have a problem going up in weight...As of right now he has no belt to defend at 147...Even if p Will comes down to 147 to fight Clottey I do not think any of the other top WW have any interest in fighting him truly not out of fear but due to the fact they gain nothing in return for beating him. No belt, not a big purse, not even name recognition because in 10 years from now when we look back on the records of say Shane Mosley or Winky Wright names like Oscar De lay hoya will stick out but Paul Williams will fade unless he does what I said earlier....lefty
Yet Cotto fought Jennings and Alphonso Gomez. What did they "bring to the table?" And what does Clottey "bring to the table" at 154 when he never even has fought there? Margarito rematched Cintron who didn't do **** at 147 to deserve one. Williams beat Margarito who never wanted a rematch or a chance to avenge it. Your post makes no sense regarding Williams nad he has a right to look for big fights like any other fighter. And btw, Margarito got paid very well for his fight With Williams. So your theory on that is BS..

When Cotto fought Gomez he had just fought Malignaggi 140lb Champ, Quintana 1st fight at 147 and Undefeated also beat Williams, Judah Former Undisputed WW Champ, Mosley HOFer and Former Champ at 135, 147, 154...the Gomez fight was on the same evetn as the Margarito Cintron fight....Arum had plans to put these two in the ring but Margarito lost to Williams and that put that on the back burner....Cotto fought Mosley and then Gomez while waiting for Margarito for the July 27th battle which i think we would all agree that we are glad it happened. it was a great fight bricks or no bricks in Tony's gloves....He took the Jennings fight as a confidence builder and a breather from big fights...less risk less reward for him...My point is Williams think he is the draw over Clottey and he hasn't lost a fight since Quintana right? Are you with me thus far? he hasn't been able to get a good fight at WW and I peronally don't think any of those guys need Williams as much as he needs them right?...You strill with me ? Since Clottey is calling paul out he should A make Clottey come to him at 154....if he wins the fight and I think he would stay at 154 fight Martinez and get a belt then go after the rest of the belts at 154....If he decides to not take the fight with Clottey I persoanlly think he should stay at 160 and persue a fight with pavlik if he can get it.....Take on a few contenders at 160.....Then go after Pavlik.....Lefty

No posts no interupption in threads no nonsense....3000 tickets sold for the biggest draw in boxing?.....RIGHT!....injured ribs yeah hmm hmmm RIGHT! Let us push the fight out to September 18th....The real reason is because he will let one of his threats eliminate the other and then fight the winner instead of fighting both on his supposed hit list....funny crap and more conflicting information from the BIGGEST DRAW IN THE SPORT......Lefty
You're a very welcome addition to the clan of fightfans who appreciate Floyd in the ring, but are disgusted by his actions outside.
