i admit that floyd is wrong for talking as much smack as he does but it also just seems like people are nitpicking. You compare floyd to these other fighers(cotto, pac, etc.) but you are missing the real problem and that is that all these fighters you mentioned are foreign fighters. If you think about it there are NO big american draws period. Why? Because america has fallen off in its love for boxing. Its thats simple. America produces great fighter but none are draws- floyd, hopkins, roy, mosley, none of them are draws and at this point that will not change it will just get worse.

P.S. Las vegas isnt his hometown. He just lives there now. If the fight was in michigan it would probably sell out but he wouldnt be able to make the same money.

People are not dumb. If Mayweather fights Cotto at MSG on his comeback it will be an instant sell out and high PPV buys. If Floyd fights Mosley in Staples or Vegas, it will also be a good draw.

floyd doesnt need a fanbase to beat manny's ass. because he will do it. with that said, manny is a great fighter and i look forward to his next fight
