Mayweather needs to build a fanbase before he EVEN mentions Pac's name!

After all, he can't sell out in his own hometown.
Pacquiao isn't even in his home country and he sells out arenas.

Mayweather is supposed to be a "Cash Cow" but he's looking really dry right about now.

& Don't give me any excuses about Marquez. Mayweather should be able to pull this out on his own.

Like De La Hoya did against Mayorga & Forbes.
Just like Hatton did against Malignaggi & Urango.
Like Pacquiao did against Juan Diaz (in a foreign country to him).
Or Cotto did against Jennings & Clottey (in a foreign country to him).

Mayweather isn't even worthy of mentioning Pacquiao's name until he establishes his own fan base. When he does, then come talk to Pacquiao.

    Mayweather = Coattail rider.

He needs to get his heart back and fight SSM or Cotto. Surely he'd get paid for those fights...but then again, he'd have to fight WW's at WW to get it.

I'm not gonna hate, just saying. LV is Floyd's hometown now. Thats supposed to be his city boxing wise. This **** should be sellin like cupcakes. the injury might had been a blessing in disguise. they need to figure out a more radical way of promoting.

I'm a fan of his technical abilities, but I'm honestly glad to see this all blowing up in his face.

He used to be really humble, and respectful, and entertaining.

Then he got big and all of a sudden he adopted this bull**** public personna, started picking his opponets based on the amount of money they offered him, and started to become a really boring fighter at times.

Plus, the dude thinks boxing revolves around him. He fails to realize this is a global sport with global appeal.

                We don't need his ass.

****, I haven't really even missed him what with Pacquiao, Marquez, Vazquez, Hopkins, Valero, Lopez, Gamboa, and tons of others cranking out great fights since his retirement.

true ****.. but also, he has to realize that Pacquiao is the flavor of the month in boxing.
like you think casual boxing fans don't know how Pacquiao blew out Hatton and De La Hoya and how Mayweather beat them but not as great? If I'm a casual fan I'm probably feeling boozled by Floyd right now and saying Pac is the real deal! Not to mention Mayweather was the flavor of the month, he was on top and rather then capitalize on that he retired. If he would have kept fighting or if he would have fought Marquez right after Hatton, then maybe it would have been much different.
