Great stuff. Whitaker was my favorite fighter to watch and had the best defense of all time IMO. You're right about his offense not getting enough credit. Whitaker would **** with anybody and was an excellent body puncher. Something else you don't hear about enough. I remember when he broke Poli Daiz ribs with his body attack.

I only wish I was able to find a quality version of the Oscar and Chavez fights.

It seems like everybody on the internet (or at least here at boxingscene) all have the same 2,fuzzy, foreign, ****ty versions of those fights.
          Nice Vid bro.

The quote in my signature was actually posted in a thread about Whitaker's body punching. I was surprised how many people were able to recognize this, it's not something you usually hear about.

Of course there were, as usual, a couple of ignorant people saying that Hatton was a better fighter than Whitaker.

I havenīt seen the vid yet, but Pernell, best left handed boxer ever. even better than me, lol. Naah he was crazy, like Bert Sugar said: he had a radar like instinct with those punches. and he could really blast, like u guys said. i didn't know Lou Duva was his trainer.

awesome video! got u ur props.

Nice work Bringer. Nice to see Pea get credit for his punching power instead of just defense.
