Mayweather was a big name in boxing. When a PPV king like ODLH fights a big name (such as p4p #1) it would be natural for even his draw to be bigger.

The guy fought Tito, Mosley, Hopkins, etc. and they didn't do that many buys, so if it is the case it has nothing to do with Floyd... where have the other numbers magically appeared from?

I know Oscar had quite a few huge numbers, PBF I believe had nothing close to even 1 million buys.

Mayweather vs Hatton did 900k+ buys and I hear it did around a million or more in the UK (don't quote me on the UK part).

The thing about Cotto/Pac/Hatton/Margarito is they draw because of nationalistic pride. They appeal to the lowest common denominator and fight for their nation's pride. Unlike in America, we have tonnes of skillful fighters and we don't care about one fighter since we have so many.
