I agree catch weights are bull****, and y'all know I back PAC 100%.

But, why is the heat being put on PAC? It takes two to tango, baby. Two signatures are needed to make a fight happen, that's all I gotta say!

You cannot put any blame on PAC because Mosley, Cotto or whomever agreed to certain conditions.

DLH is the only one to blame for agreeing to something and then using it as an excuse later on as to why he lost the fight. What has the world come to?

    CLIFF ROLD,

You like to bust PAC's b&lls for frontin' like he's a 147lber, then tell Mosley and Co to quit pickin' on guys that are not natural 147lber.

It's a two way street, buddy

I want pac to fight at 147 but if his team says it's a catchweight then it's a catchweight and to hell with those who disagree, you can take it or leave it.

Im not a fan of catchweight buts this is an exception to the rule. We're all in agreement that pac is not a ww. his max weigh in is 142. considering the weight he's moved up in his career i think its fine to give him a couple pounds. If this fight is at 144 145 considering cotto weighed 146 on saturday is that really going to change the outcome of the fight? I'm sorry but a 28 year old fighter does not let 2 pounds change the outcome of the fight. Leveling the playing field in this instance is fair. A lot of us on here prior to oscar and hatton thought pac would get killed by cotto. 2 pounds arent what's changed our view, it's what we've seen in the ring.

i was okay with the pacquiao camp asking for a catch weight being Pacquiao is a career featherweight former flyweight champion going up against a career junior lightweight full fledged welter,

but this article completely changed my mind.

            Fight Cotto at 147.

            NO GUTS, NO GLORY.

Plus, i dont think i can stand the ricans b*tching till the end of time about cotto being weight drained. I think Pacquiao beats cotto either weight.

I fully understand the point and i agree with the article. My point is we might be making too big a deal of this when we look at the big picture of pac's career. You also have to realize safety standards & research in general today are so far ahead of when the past greats fought that health has become a much much greater concern. I think he's already bitten of more than anyone expected to chew, wanting to level the playing field isn't a big deal, especially if cotto agrees and its not extreme.

i think that if manny doesnt want 2 fight @ the ww limit & cotto agrees to the catch weight then cotto's belt should not be on the line...simple, no ww limit fight, no ww belt on the line & just fight for pride & money......
