He does have a rematch set with Cermeņo on July 11 at Laredo, Texas. The boxing schedule at The Ring site says it will be on HBO. I personally thought he won the 1st fight but he was not the typical slick boxer in that fight.

I had him winning the fight clearly, I think most people had it that way as well but he didn't look good, got hit way more than he should have.

just saw the scorecards on boxrec and they are really strange.
One guy had 116-112 for Cermeno, and other 117-111 for Mijares :S

Also on the Munoz fight one guy had Munoz winning 115-113 :S...Mijares on that fight clearly...

And with Navarro he won but it was also a SD and that guy had 120-108 for NAvarro xD..i didnt see that fight but its ridiculous. the other two had it 117-111 and 115-113.

What the hell happens on Mijares's fights....those scorecards are really strange

It was a matter of time before those scorecards go the other way, I said that after the Munoz fight, it's like the judges can't see the stuff he's doing in there, anyways 117-111 for Mijares was about right, I had it 116-112 for him. As I said though, he didn't look good.

It's because of his style of fighting. I agree he got hit more than he is used to getting hit in the Cermeņo fight but he clearly won that.
