After the two losses to Darchinyan and Cermeno, I never heard **** about him again. Is he going to rematch Cermeno? Did he retire? What happened to this guy?

He went nowhere fast. Most rated Mijares in the p4p top 10 until his devastating loss to Darchinyan, now he isn't even top 10 in any division.

I don't think he is retired though.

mijares really left me down on that darchinyan fight.... i couldnt belive wat i was seein... i remember readin he was gonna get a rematch with cermeno... i actually thought he won that fight

he was gonna rematch cermeno but i think the card got cancelled because of the swine flu thing and linares got injured....then they postpoed it to july, but they said mijares got sick and since his camp got interrupted, him and cermeno are probably fighting fodder to set up a rematch 2 months after.....he is shot though......and he has lost sight of his style....he wont do anything relevant anymore.....this coming from a mijares fan....

He was scheudled to rematch Ceremeno for July 11th, but got pushed back for some reason. I don't really know.

He's going to rematch Cermeno, for some reason he's changed his style in his past 2 fights, he's a totally different fighter from the one who took apart guys like Navarro and Munoz, much more offensive minded now.
