There is a high level of arrogance around Pacquiao, where he elevates Pacquiao so high as if Pacquiao is God's gift to boxing. When Mosley asked for a fight Roach asked Mosley to move to 142,when Mosley brought that DelaHoya had fought at 147 vs Manny (which is a valid point) Roach told Mosley he wasnt DelaHoya.Honestly that's not the way to treat a champion like Mosley. If you dont want the fight you dont want the fight,Mosley never bad mouthed Manny.

Now Roach has been mouthing off saying Manny is the best thing at the moment how everyone will have to dance to Manny's tune, how they have to starve themselves in obeisence to Manny.

DelaHoya was a cash cow and the PPV numbers bear testimony to that but DelaHoya would put his conditions in a professional manner. He never went around mouthing people off the way Roach is doing it.The Klitchkos have slave contracts but they do not go around saying **** the way Roach is saying.

Is anyone else getting pissed off by Manny because of Roach.

      Exactly.

They should be angry at Floyd who went into hidding.

Floyd is no longer the King, not that he was in my eyes before he retired anyway. Pacquiao was the king in my eyes and now Manny sits on his rightfull thrown where he belonged.

The only thing Floyd has is his ZERO which ammounts to a hell of beans right about now.

If I were a *****, I would be angry at Floyd but since I am not a *****, I am very happy that he went into hidding because a lot of truth is being shed such as, HE IS NOT THE CASH COW, he is a coward and his wins over bums such as Gatti, Oldimierda, Olden Boy and Ricky Fatton ain't shiet because Manny destroyed two of those in a shocking manner. Made one say no mas and the other was knocked out almost in one round.

Dont cry *****s, don't blame Roach for Floyds cowardice, put the blame where it belongs on Floyds chicken shoulders.

Please they are the ones with the assault rifles and the bandanas over their face lording over their "crop" in Cali.

Why do you think Mr.Pink's family owns so much real estate and he's such a good shot with any kind of weapon.

He has a little satellite wifi-myfi thing going so he can post on Boxing Scene and scare away poachers in between posts.

He hires xcaret to take his crop to market.

Roach controls Manny in as much as you disgree. What Roach says goes.He puts conditions for fights thats why they wont take Mosley because Roach doesnt want Mosley near by.

Roach at first wanted Mayweather and he explained his reasons because Mayweather does not punch as hard as Mosley. These are the reasons reasonable people turn against Manny, they know that the so called pound for pound fighter has unfair advantage. He is not fighting the best Cotto is he?So would you have respect for someone who's fighting a malnourished boxer?

Not only that, the differences in conditions is baffling, how can you be prepared to fight one fighter at 147 then refuse another fighter. If Manny is good he should fight at 147,if not then stop the bragging, you havent earned it

Not counting your "very reasonable self", how much of the boxing population that follow Manny do you think actually personally take it against Manny what his trainer or his handlers decide to do with regards to future fight terms? You also make it sound like Manny crowned himself P4P king. Last time I checked, his vote does not count or does he even care. To be honest with you, if you follow Manny, he fights for his fans and not for those who doubt him. I met him a couple times in Manila and you have no idea how much of a non-factor it is to him what his detractors feel about him. He fights first for Filipino pride, and if he keeps winning and gain fans from all over the world in the process, so be it. Mention P4P around him and he laughs it off. Try laughing sometimes, it keeps you young and healthy.

That's why I said reasonable, you dont fit into that category because you have an attachment. You are Filipino and for you it's win at all costs. To boxing fans it's different we want fairness.Attachment brings bias and inhibits judgement.

This was a fair and reasonable argument until you start resorting to "you are Filipino, therefore you are not fair when it comes to Pacquiao". I was at the Thrilla in Manila in 1975. My dad brought me to that fight when I was 6 yrs old. I have been an avid boxing fan ever since. Whether it is Filipino, African, Puerto Rican, American, Mexican (Salvador Sanchez is still my most beloved boxer of all time), etc, etc.

The issue I have with your initial post is that it hinges on the fact that you seem to think that this P4P thing is sort of a curse on Manny. "Roach is saying this..., and his handlers want him to fight this guy at this weight..., how could you be a P4P fighter if you did that..., reasonable people are being turned off.... etc. etc." In the words of Jerry Seinfeld - "yada, yada, yada"

Just like I asked you earlier, not including you and let's not include myself either, how many people do you think who follow Manny actually would personally take it against him what his trainer or handlers say or decide for him? Because if you don't follow Manny, what's the point of this conversation?
