What Tyson did from 19-24 is astonishing! It is one of the most amazing feats ever in boxing.he made 10 title defences by 24 years old! 10! He simply imploded once he went with don king....many don't know about the Edmonton incident....Tyson was to fight ruddock in Edmonton but pulled out because he said he had a cold...but the real reason was at ken lakustas legends gym,Tyson was sparring with greg page.page floored him big time & Tyson flipped out & ran out of the gym....it was the first time Tyson aura of invisibility was gone.it leaked to the local press & Tyson cancelled.instead of rescheduling with ruddock ,he went to japan & the rest is history.he was never the same after greg page dropped him & he lost to Douglas his next fight...worst part is he beat ruddock twice after anyway...it could have been different.he was done right before the Douglas fight...he dominated the sport like no other during that 5 year span....again from 19-24.nowadays how many contenders are under 35? Think about it...Tyson would win IMO but it's too hard to speculate.
