    Mayweather...this is embarrassing

So the guy starts bragging that he's the biggest draw in boxing.

He retires and makes a comeback to ace Juan Manuel Marquez...and barely anyone wants to buy the fight...

    ughhhhhh

    /facepalm

I dont really care if the fight is postponed and I believe the fight will do well in terms of PPV and at the gate as they hadnt even aired the 24/7 series yet and havent had much time to promote the fight. I do believe hes legitimately injured though, makes sense being off for almost two years.
On a side note u from Vancouver?? Im from there too Burnaby, hate the Canucks though Luongo lets in 7 goals in the biggest game of his career LOL Sedins prolly gone next yr too LOL

Have fun fighting a fighter who hasn't ever fought above 140 Floyd! Have fun knocking Marquez the **** out. I don't think Marquez is Manny Pacquiao and I do not think he will put the weight on good. Oh and Marquez can take some blame for the fact he thinks its an intelligent move for him to fight one of the best at a weight class this high in his first fight in the 140's!

fight hype and people have got on ticketmaster.com and tried to buy 10 tickets (together) at a time from $300 bucks and up (to see if it was true) and there are still huge amounts of seats available.

Floyd couldn't draw a stick figure if he took drawing lessons.

Floyd couldnt attract flies if he was covered in **** and sprinkled with 10 pounds of powdered sugar

ive never been to a floyd mayweather fight, but ive bought all of them. Its not the way things usually work, but you can still have ballin ass ppv numbers without selling out the arena.

Eh, no son, that is not the way it works. You sell out fast and force people to PPV. If you aint selling cheap tickets which are many still avialable, chances are the PPV will be just as dismal.

usually if the arena isn't selling, it means the ppv isn't gonna sell as well either.
& even though there's a limited amount of seats 300 per person is much better then 50 dollars a household.

anyway, this only proves what kind of fans Floyd has (or should I say stans). They'll talk big about him, act like he can walk on water, but when it comes down to really supporting him, they wont get off their ass and buy a ticket to go watch him fight.
That's not a real fan IMO. That's just riding someone's bandwagon.
A real fan would want to watch his favorite fighter live at least once, knowing he was there for it and part of the atmosphere.
