I'm purto rican we do it all the time with our children. however it normally stops when our children develope a sense of sexual awareness i.e. why is your thing different then mommies. Some families don't bother and continue the tradition. To me it doesn't look right but who am I to say its wrong every family has their traditions and believes.

I agree it does. However the only reason we find it strange is because we aren't in the practice of doing it. Personally I don't agree with it but my parents always taught me to respect another mans practices and belief's as long as it didn't interfer with my family or the community.
