Cotto -vs- Clottey.. Who won Poll?

Cotto groupies
Mayweather groupies

Should never have a poll with EITHER of those 3 men.

Oh, and over at fightjudge.com,

"real" fans who judged the fight as it occured had Clottey winning. Check it out. It's definitely a more accurate look than your poll. You can see a higher % had Clottey winning 114-113.

Not enough Ghanaians? There's a ton of white people on here too to offset it i'm sure. I might need to make another poll stating your ethnicity as well..

115-112 Clottey but since I was pullin' for him 114-113 would've been cool.......if you go by the judges card......Cotto was guaranteed a DRAW goin' into round 10.......thats bull****!!!!........and those who dont see it......well everybody cant be so gifted I guess

I'm Puerto Rican myself, and as I've been posting on Boxingscene
there's ONE thing I've noticed. The ammount of love Cotto, Pac, and Mayweather get is insane. If you notice.. the only "arguements" that ever happen here on boxingscene involve PBF, Cotto, or Pacman.

I say this.

Clottey doesn't deserve to win because he new what was at stake and let left his faith in the judges hand. Cotto doesn't deserve to win because he he let Clottey back into fight after the knock down. It should be a draw and know one walks away with a lost.

The fight is scored off conecting shots period. Looking at the fight again, and looking at the connecting shots, I gave it to Clottey. You can't give a fighter a round just because it was little to know action. I don't care how bizzy a fighter is, if he's not connectiong you shouldn't give him points. I don't believe boxing is scoring arm punches. I gave cotto the 1st, hard to score the 6th and gave him the 12. Thats just going of what I seen. Another thing the side live team was saying. When Cotto was getting beat most of the round and end it with a good shots, the was saying (Maybe Cotto stole that round) Off of one good shot, Please. I thought it was, who ever landed the most punches.

Thats my thoughts on that. They have the fight on Youtube.

But the most vocal posters are those of the opposition to the 3 you named. Everyone who saw Clottey as the winner has posted about it no less than ten times each on NSB. I do admit, the one wide card was bull**** and the fact that Cotto was guaranteed a draw going into the last couple rounds is also outrageous. Fortunately however, Cotto did work in the last rounds.

Clottey probably won, Cotto did win. Clottey can only blame himself, he should have known better than to keep it that close when he had every opportunity to pull so far ahead he couldn't have possibly lost.

COTTO WON 114-113. I had the exact same scorecard as Lederman. Clottey didn't do enough in the final rounds to win the fight. PERIOD!

My avatar doesn't look like an arm punch, hell even when Clottey was guarding Cotto was getting through.
