If PacMan beats Cotto at 145 or above will you say he was shot or make excuses?

At 145 I think Cotto would be more or less fine, so if Manny won he deserves his props. That said I think Manny matches up nicely with Cotto style wise, and probably will turn Cotto's face into something grotesque.

It would be a very very good win, even though I feel Manny would be able to exploit certain limitations in Cotto's game.

Manny has never really used the uppercut though and that is one of the key punches in really getting at Cotto, that is not the only way to hit Cotto but that punch always seems to land on him. That could aid Cotto greatly not having to deal with that punch, because I think it would allow him to work the body much more effectively.

I used to admire Pacman but he's pathetic now, going after damaged, old, or weight drained fighters.

So if Pac fights cotto at 147 its okay. But if he fights him below that miguel is damged goods? which one is it? He's 5'7 with 24 fights at 140 pounds only 6 or 7 at welterweight. He just weighed in at 146. He cant lose 1 or 2 pounds?

What do u call welterweights wanting to fight a 5'6 asian guy who started his career at 106 lbs, former flyweight 112 lb champ & only has 1 fight each at 135,140, & 147?

ohh my god, they killed kenny!!!!!!

Cotto weighed in at 146 against Clottey.
Honestly, you think losing a 1lb would be the reason if he loses.?

BTW, Remember that Pac is moving up.

Honestly ; Marquez and Pacquiao both came up the hard way, they had to fight for everything they have.

Manny fought the bigger names with Barrera and Morales. Which was no cakewalk. (Though he made it look like one, especially with my boy Marco. )

But Marquez had to dwindle in obscurity for most of his career, and fight that much harder to become a standout.

Which would you say is the harder route to take ; Fighting the very best in the world on a consistent basis, or dwindling in obscurity for an eternity despite your natural talents?

I'd say they were both equally rough paths, and they only helped make both men the amazing fighters they are today.
Amen to that brother. Just pointing out to that guy what you just so eloquently elaborated on. Dude was trying to make it seem like Marquez had consistently taken on tougher opposition than pacquiao.

But i do think John beat Marquez.

Agreed. But we disagree about the John fight, it happens.

I don't see how anybody can say Pacquiao or Marquez had it easy.

Pacquiao may have gotten more money fights, and big PPV headlines, but ****, look who he fought ; BarreraX2 and Morales X3. That **** ain't easy at all, Marco and Erik were the best of the best.

Much respect to both of them.

We need more guys like them.
