I'll admit, I went a little hard on Cotto. My apologies

You know, this was the first boring fight I've seen Cotto in. Wasn't boring untill the 7th but let me get on with it. Mayweather has had his share also ofcourse. I'd like to express how I felt about the fight. I posted this in The Bringer's thread. I'd also like to say, no I didn't lose all my respect for Cotto, I took it too far when I said that. I just got caught in the moment. Anyway this is how I truly felt, I'm calm now but here we go.

Maybe I wen't a little hard yerterday but that running pissed me off. I mean, we're giving him respect for going on after having such a bad cut but it isn't like he faught. He did alot of running and no throwing, I respect what Winky did against B-Hop (Winky also had a really bad cut), not what Cotto did. I don't make Cotto hate threads, hardly got anything bad to say about the guy but I've always respected him. What he pulled yesterday wasn't in the level of Cory Spinks, that was very DLH-like (I'm talking Tito vs Oscar late rounds). I got mad at the fact that the commentators said, Clottey isn't doing enough, well Clottey was freaking chasing the guy down! Not chasing a guy who boxed beautifully (Mayweather, Calderon, Guzman or B-Hop) but a guy who straight up ran. Now tell me, how could we possibly give Cotto respect for that?

Anyone else felt the same way?

I didn't dig the running, it wasn't circling, but it is what it is. I was disgusted about the absurd scoring though 116-111 means that it was one sided.

dawg ur exagerating. Oscar didnt throw no punches in the rounds vs tito in round 11 cotto threw more than joshua i believe he threw 54 punches and landed the same amount clottey waschasing and not throwing bearly cotto won the last 2 rounds by throwing more than clottey . Also cottos cut was wayyyyyyyyyy worse than winkys plus it was all ova his eye he kept pawing at it every 5 seconds it was worse than winkys.

That score did piss me off. No matter what Clottey did, he wasn't gonna get the win.
