after seeing Cotto last night...who here thinks Pacquiao would whoop him??

i think it would be close for 4-5 rounds, and then cotto starts timing and landing, his bodywork takes effect, he bullies manny around a bit...and takes a late stoppage win or a UD if manny hangs onComment

Nah, I don't think just because he had a tough fight with Clottey that it necessarily means Pac would wipe the canvas with him. Anyone would have a hard time with Clottey, the fact is he still have never been convincingly beaten. Pac is a much smaller and different type of fighter and if the situation occurred where in a Pac/Cotto fight where Cotto got him on the ropes like he did Clottey, I doubt Pac would be able to hold up against those shot from a legit WW puncher like Cotto.Comment

i agree with mangler, how does cotto having a tough fight with a big WW who fights out of a tight guard and throws accurate counters and is very strong mean he will lose to a tiny WW who has a completely different style...i mean wtfComment

I think Pac will blind him with his speed... however, im curious to see how pac can handle power at that weight... we all know his ODLH and Hatton fights were long or contested enough to really gauge how well he can take a 140+ lb punch....
so "whoop"? maybe not, but i am much more confident in a Pac win than i was before....Comment

Think people need to take a few things into consideration here. Clottey is no ****ing journey man, but a very effective and talented boxer, who has a very impressive record,39 Fights, 35 Wins. Were people expecting cotto to steam roll him? Was never guna happen. I also think people are not giving Cotto enough credit for the shift he put in on saturday. He won this fight against a top top welterweight having been blinded with blood in one eye for 3/4 of the fight, that above all else should be enough to give Cotto respect. Not this Pac would whoop cotto nonsenceComment
