That was an extremely bad cut, Cotto has balls you can't take that away. How do you think Floyd would've held up? I don't think as good.

when you're un active and start training hard in a short period of time foe ring rust and glove shy,these injuries happen all the time. its normal. the sparring rounds to get use to being hit in the body can do damage and it takes time to heal and start all over again then i can happen again

Rib injuries are the longest to heal because you can't get around using that part of your body, even when you breath.

Many people are just plain gullible or outright ******. How does a fighter get a broken rib when he's not even having heavy sparring yet? No boxer does heavy sparring when it's still more than a month from the fight (July 18). Or has anybody here ever heard that tickets for the fight have sold out almost three weeks after they have been put on sale? The reason for this INJURY is plain and simple. Ticket sales have been dismal. Major PPV fights sell out in hours, if not days, especially if PBF is the attraction that he THINKS he is. Less than half of the tickets have been sold three weeks running. Tecate, among other major sponsors, is not sponsoring the fight. Golden Boy and HBO stand to lose a lot of money should they proceed with the fight because ticket sales is a good indication of people interest and PPV buys. They think it would flop dismally, so they're looking for ways to delay the fight. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight is eventually cancelled for one reason or another. I would only believe this **** if a US government physician examines Mayweather and comes up with a medical report to confirm the injury. But, of course we know that a medical report will come up courtesy of PBF's or Golden Boy's physician. LOL.

Bottomline: MAYWEATHER can't sell this fight. He is not a big box office draw. He thinks he is the cash cow? LOL!!!
