Cause Floyd ducks people that's why he never mentions them unless someone like Brian Kenny ask him about 3 times. Doesn't change the fact that Floyd would tax that ass..

I honestly was thinking today..."I hope Floyd don't get hurt or some bull**** because it's been happening in way too many fights lately." And look what the **** happened.Comment

People are funny Floyd was ripped for taking a fight with JMM saying he's picking on a smaller fighter ...Now he postpones the fight due to injury and how hes afraid of that same fighter?Comment

that's the way the sport is. no one can sit around waiting for floyd though, he just has to heal himself good and come back. cotto vs pac is happening now so it's going to be interesting boricuas vs pinoys in this forum. hehe.Comment

actually, most of the speculation has been about the so-far reportedly lousy ticket sales of the fight. No one rational is thinking he got scared of JMM.Comment

Im giving the injury a chance. For now.
Timing is way too perfectly iffy.
All he wants to do is for pac/cotto to kill themselves to take the softer left over.
This guy's a mind genius. He exactly know's what he's doing.I can see him sitting down at home breaking his head hard on how to manuever down to the least amountable threatful fighter.
He left when the welterweight division was hot and now that he came back it's even HOTTER.He had 3 fights to call it a true career.I think he's trying to whind it down to 2.Comment

Disappointing news. I am optimistic that it will be re-scheduled and I hope it is, because unlike a lot of other poeple, I want to see the fight. I've maintained that JMM is a tougher opponent than Cotto before last night's fight. In fact, the thought runs through my head that Mayweather pulled out of this fight to pursue a fight with Cotto, because it'd be a bigger payday for Floyd and an easier fight. But I'm gonna let the situation play out before I direct any negative criticism toward Floyd. I think the situation here is like what the story said. Ticket sales are slow, and therefore it will be moved to regular TV which is good. A lot of Mayweather fans are afraid to admit this, but Floyd is not an attraction at the gate, and not even really a big PPV attraction without a super star opponent. It's all good and it's nothing to be ashamed of if you're a Floyd fan. I'm a big Juan Manuel Marquez fan and I admit he has the same problems that Mayweather does where marketability is concerned. There was a time of when his fight with Rocky Juarez was scheduled to be on PPV and he pulled out with a supposed hand infection and the fight was just postponed to a couple months afterward, and off PPV.Comment
