I just rewatched cotto vs clottey

Yesterday when i saw it i didnt score it but felt it coulda gone either way today this morning i saw it again and had cotto 114-113 i felt like he won alot of the early rounds 1 3 4 6 round 2 and 10 were close but i gave those to clottey along with 5 7 8 and 9 but then 11 and 12th he wasnt really doing to much and cotto was throwing more. Alot of people hating on cotto but he had the ballz to face clottey plus he had to fight him with one eye basically the whole fight. During the first 3 rounds ihe was fighting ok with a high guard 2 i think if the headbutt wouldnt have happened he woulda won more convincingly but never the less he won the fight. Alot of people here crazy saying 8 to 4 for clottey or 8-4 for cotto its crazy i can see 6-6 for either guy maybe 7-5 but tahts a maybe but 8-4 hell no for none of them

it could have gone that way but in no way shape or form was it a robbery 114-113 for either guy or maybe 115-112 could be aceptable 2 but nothing more than that

i had it 114-113 for cotto... but it was close as hell, cuz i wasn't sure which way the judges viewed it.....

same here but i gave the third to clottey if i recall right and the 11th even... not it matter, clottey was slightly robbed. if you want to beat a champion you need to do much more clottey. anyway the most interesting thing about this fight apart from clottey being unsuprisingly ripped off, was cotto showing up "human" again, like he did in the margarito fight. Had Clottey thrown more punches, more would land as Cotto is very vulnerable now. Taking a beating in every fight win or lose doesn't help his career. Boxing is not all about punching, you need to have a good defense and know how to counter. Cotto has a bad defense as he doesn't make an opponent pay after he misses. This will cost him ALLOT vs Pacquiao or Mayweather.

I usually find Puerto Ricans Biased on their fighters but i agree..
I had it 1 point for cotto..
The point system works in strange ways.. CLottey issued him an asswhoppin tho. He outboxed him IMO..

I had Cotto winning by 1 point. Could have gone either way. But Cotto fought smart the last 2 rounds stick and move was the best option to put the last rounds in the bag.

cotto is a warrior.lots of crddit and respect for him.he survived pretty well against clottey.cause he couldve quit the fight after 4 rounds and get easy win.BUT HE KEPT FIGHTING FOWARD very brave
