I had it 115 112 for Clottey when I rewatched it. Cotto showed great heart dealing with the cut and a man who didn't seem very fazed by his punches. I just think Clottey won enough rnds to pull it out.

props to you for being neutral even though 80% of cotto fans are cotto fans before boxing fans. the sport is bigger than 1 person but biased idiot like champ box dont realise that. scored 2 10-8 rounds lmfao!!! the first round was when clottey was off balance and since then blocked most punches and won rounds, he was more active overall and landed the more accurate shots with higher percentage. cotto won 4, maximum 5 rounds.

Cotto won the fight in the last few rds. Clottey was toooo inactive late. And cotto got on his bike as usual the last few rds. Clottey gased, its as simple as that. He couldnt walk the vulnerable man down as he ran the last few rds. But while he was running he would offer a pitty pat flurry then get to running again.

They both gassed! Cotto had Clottey cornered a few times, but then just backed off. I don't know if it was stamina issues, but he could have finished the fight by KO a few times.

It's all coo man, I was expecting some criticism for this post! People really need to take the blinders off, and realize that boxing comes before being a stan.

It was definitely a close fight!!! Would love a rematch... probably later in his career?

I just wanted to give propz to Clottey for bringing it in last nights fight, and to pullcounter for predicting exactly what was going to happen. I really thought the fight should have been a draw or Clottey should have won by a point. Cotto showed vulnerabilities yet again, which as Kellerman said, would attract other super star fighters to Cotto. Cotto did have a huge cut on his eyebrow, BUT he needs to learn how to fight while being pressured...he also needs to get away from the Garden when fighting a legit opponent....116-111 is just ridiculous. For those that don't like my post...remember I am a fan of boxing first before being a fan of Cotto.
