    So is 114-113 Cotto(my scorecard)

    Is that bias?

D I agree with a lot of what you said...and think it was a very close fight with both men showing true grit...and some dirtyness...but Cotto got those last 2 Chip rounds and pulled it out...IMO

Clottey was game but gased Cotto was there for the taking and Clottey simply didn't have it in him to get it done.

Cotto won a great close fight...against a more then game competitor and a champion in his own right.

Clottey was never going to go down with out a fight...If you expected Miguel Cotto to completely demolish Clottey in 3 rounds....you expectations are a little high.

I think Cotto is getting more of a bashing on this forum then Clottey ever has.

Cotto pulled out a victory from the jaws of defeat and he's getting treated like he ****d 8 children.

I scored it for Cotto and I am a Cotto fan obviously....But i maintained my objectiveness through out the fight.

Just because I am a Cotto fan that scored it for Cotto doesn't mean I am a stan...It just means that how I scored it.

Your making it seem like the only true boxing fans are the ones that scored it for Clottey...when obviously it's deeper then that.

You said it was a draw...You honestly can't see 1 point going the other way?

come on dude you know we are cool but bashing Cotto fans for seeing the fight the way the seen it is unnecessary.

O yea Dan Rafael scored it 116-111...

Cotto showed vulnerabilities yet again, which as Kellerman said, would attract other super star fighters to Cotto. Cotto did have a huge cut on his eyebrow, BUT he needs to learn how to fight while being pressured...he also needs to get away from the Garden when fighting a legit opponent....116-111 is just ridiculous. For those that don't like my post...remember I am a fan of boxing first before being a fan of Cotto.

big props to D-omonist for being a fan of boxing first!!

cotto is still a very good boxer and with the right trainer he could become even better. don't give up on him yet.

          What differences does it make?

What differences does it make for the guy who gave cotto 116-111 or 115-114 he still gave the fight to cotto. Yes It is ridiculous but it does not make or break the fight. I had them tied in the 10th round and eventhough clotty was chasing cotto he did not land anything. out of the last 3 rounds I gave one to clotty, in fact by the 10th i though cotto was going to loose.

i agree but i think the cut was huge it reminded me of vitaly's cut against lewis and that fight was stopped, cotto could of easily stopped the fight early and won but he continued, there is not a round where cotto is not pawin at his eye and cotto wasn't really gettin pressured or bein forced to back up in the 1st couple rounds of the fight it seemed to be more of him tryin to get away so he could wipe his eye

I concluded a couple of things as to why cotto back off and for one his blood loss and second his vision. he had to be careful because clotty could have counterd him in the corner on his right side, which is the side where he was having trouble seeing. I just think it was a combination of being careful and running out of steam.

Boom, I'm not bashing Cotto fans. Yes the fight could have gone either way. I just feel that a draw would have been the appropriate decision for this fight. Both showed that they are good fighters, and yes Cotto had a huge gash above his eye which affected him.

He was definitely being cautious, and the blood most likely affected his performance. I would love to see a rematch without head butts to see who would be the victor.
