Remember that the judges score the fights on a round to round basis. 116 111 at glance may look foolish but it's not hard to believe that he thought Cotto won 8 rounds considering some of the rounds were quite close.

I personally had Cotto winning 7 rounds, Clottey 5.

Personally i think punch stats are way over rated, its not like they are completly accurate

I had it 114-113 Cotto... the judges were blind I think, no way he won it by so many rounds... I still had him winning though.

especially last night because clottey's defense is very good even if cotto landed a punched you couldnt see it. i remember steward said cotto is not landing while the replay came to air and i saw every punch landing. the fight was horrible. i mean it cuz of the cut. both fighter are great but it was not a Fight of the Year candidate
