Cotto sure is a good runner (that's what ya'll call it when Floyd does it).
      thats true man..

funny how when a fighter mainstream fans like is boxing and using lateral footwork its called moving. but when someone they dislike does it its called running. great stuff..

Cotto won the fight and Clottey won 1 Oscar as best actor. He made a couple of shows trying to catch the attention of the referee to his favor unsucessfully.
He made a great fight and really is a great warrior but Cotto with a cut in the left eyebrow , the blood flowing , and limited vision could overcome Clottey and won the fight. I give credit to Cotto for that as I gave Clottey credit for fight Margarito 12 rounds with just one hand. But I think Clottey should respect the decision as a good professional. And believe me: the decision would had been wide open without that cut in the left eye. We'll see what happens in a posible rematch.

I had it six rounds even with Cotto getting the edge because of the knockdown. 114-113 for Cotto.

The Punch to the back of the head wasn't acting.. From the replay Cotto hit him hard..not a ko type punch but a stiff one still.. Also..what was up with that ring last night..I mean the canvas..I saw Clottey ice skating on it all last night... some of the pople watching it with me wre like he's hurt, but i told them either the canvas is still wet, clottey's shoes suck..or he's been hurting the WHOLE fight..

I still think Clottey won, but the reason i'm not that upset with the outcome, was because Cotto satyed in thier and didn't stop when he could. But again you can't use the "well he should have won since he could only see in one eye" excuse since that was Cotto's corners fault..

I would like to see a rematch here, cuz i know if clottey had gotten the official dub, Cotto would have demanded a rematch. I think CLottey will return to the status he was b4 the fight.. no one will fight him since he is a high risk..low reward fighter. Berto, Mosley, FMJ and even Pwill probably won't fight him.. he may have to go to 154 to make fights possible

Cotto won. Clottey did not want to win in the last rounds and that made the difference for me. Look at his antics in the final round. Strange behaviour.

Clottey 115-112, but I can see how it could be scored otherwise. It was close out there. Definitely not one-sided.
