Yup, that KD sealed it. Peach of a JAB huh! Absaloutley Cotto said it himself after that was why he didnt pressure, i think he would have been better fighting up close as apposed to on the back foot

It was a close fight the cut made sure of that. Clottey started capitalizing on the cut then he laid back and did nothing, you can expect a win to fall on your lap you got to go after it.

Clottey and by several rounds. He landed so many more punches, he landed the harder ones and he had Cotto hurt a couple times. Cotto lost the balls out of the first round but lands a jab to get a flash knockdown (round was even since Cotto lost the rest of the round) and maybe won 3 more. But as soon as they said the judges had only done Cotto fights (and had given him too wide of margins according to Jim) I knew the fix was in. Nobody really thought in Cotto's backyard that Clottey would have a chance on the cards. So you get scores like 117-111. Hometown corruption all day long. CLottey won that fight by a couple rounds. Clearly.
