check the threads, there's a huge lovefest going on right now with cotto lovers.. its cool to be a fan of a boxer but damn some of the **** is crazy. not all cotto fans, but some cotto fans are going overboard with the victory, but guess thats to be expected right? fans of every fighter get loose on fight night

but seriously you dont think the ny atmosphere, the eve of pr parade, the possibility of cotto-pacman has anything to do with anything?

im not saying it did, but anyone can easily point to that and if could have some validity

That's where the rest of the world comes in, those unbias, who are of neither nationality, who have better judgement when it comes to sport and competition, and don't have their mentality clouded with pride.

Cotto won, but admit it, he absolutely does not look as good (nh) as he used to be.

COuld that huge cut on is eyebrow had anything to do with it, he couldn't see out of one eye.

I honestly don't think the eve of the parade had anything to do with it, I can see what you mean about the lovefest thing some fans think their fighter should win every round, but I do see some people describing Cotto's performance on his heart and toughness which is different than his boxing skill so it's how you see it I guess. I see it as Cotto's fans admiring his toughness rather than a great performance.

I wasn't to impressed with the win, but Cotto fought adversity and that large gash over his eye for 9 rounds, and was determined to finish the fight, rather than it getting stopped.

Many say Cotto was running, but he was boxing. It is what it is. He did what he had to do to preserve that eye.

Once again, I'm not impressed, but Cotto showed me again that he is here to fight. He had a cut and played it safe at times, and took risks. You should give him props either way. Great fight.
