Well this fight won't be at 147. It depends on what weight. If it's as low as 142 or 143 I'm favoring Pac. He's just too good and making a guy come down close to a weight class he had to leave is dangerous.

At 147 I would say confidently that Cotto wins. But at a BS catch weight Manny is very dangerous.

yea alright mate cotto won the first 3 rounds comfortably then the headbutt shook him up but he was never in danger of losing the fight he just had a bad spell then cruised home in the last 4 rounds. i think cotto would beat pacquiao because he will be at his best. finally getting his well deserved shot at p4p king status and we will see the best of miguel cotto my prediction cotto ko's pacman in 5 rounds it will be just like the quintana fight.

It's a marketing ploy and it's smart. By using Pacquiao's star power they can either get Cotto to go down a few pounds or get Cotto to accept the fight at 147 but at a lower pay.

I like Cotto, that said, I think many people have been fooled by HBO's propaganda tactics...

Pac may be smaller but IMO he murks Cotto... Cotto is wayyyy too slow, open to counters and at times comes straight forward... This translates to being KO'ed....Pac unlike Clottey will finish him, no doubt.

I don't understand why many people hate on boxers for which ever reason. Fellas Clot has Winky type defense, high guard with a stiff jab. Pac is fast but takes a lot of chances.. He will be hit by Cotto a lot mark my words, in know way should Clot and Pac be compared. One throws 10-15 punches a round while the other throws 30-50 a round. After re-watching the fight I had it 115 to 112 for Cotto he clearly won the championship rounds. Last night Cotto showed me that he will be a force to anyone he fights period. WE need to stop hating and appreciate what Cotto does for the sport Other fighters won't take these chances.
