It is very clear Cotto can't beat Margarito, not in a million years. I'm also convinced he loses to Mosley unless Mosley is like 40 and out of shape. Floyd, Manny will both kill Cotto. He's no robocop or the terminator anymore.

Clottey would kill pacman and mosley! Clottey did more damage to margarito than he did to cotto. Cotto fought clottey for 9-10 rds with 1 eye and margarito fought clottey with 2 eyes and "perhaps" and i said perhaps with plaster in his gloves. I laugh when fans say that margarito only used it once or none at all...okayyyyyyyyyyyyyy...i still have that brooklyn bridge to sell.

I think Pacquiao, it's going to be hard for any to top knocking out Barrera, Morales the 2nd fight, and beating Marquez in a great fight. Then throw in that he moved up in 3 weight classes and knocked out Diaz, Hatton, and DLH.

Even though I don't think that those guys were all too great. It's still good because he moved up in weight and looked comfortable in every instance.

When it comes to defense I think Manny gets the edge now. Before Pac was easy to hit really easy. However, Roach has done a fine job of teaching Manny to get out of fire and slip punches with head movement.

Cotto has a tight guard. But midway through the fight he becomes a lot easier to hit.

So in my opinion I'd have to give those two to Manny. Trust me I don't really like Manny too much or Cotto. But I do respect them for the quality of guys they are and how they fight in the ring.

Exactly, cotto never makes excuses and clottey and margarito are always making excuses. If cotto beats pacman everyone will say, yea he did not beat a real welterweight, doesn't count. It's a no win for cotto, mosley or floyd to beat pacman except for the money.

cotto is definitely a different animal. and i still think he's the last one i would chose to fight with pac among. gayweather, mosley and cotto.
plus he doesn't bring pac anything to the table as far as legacy and bringing supremacy over p4p.

I guess we'll agree to disagree. It's like fans who don't give kobe his props. I have a co-worker who never gives kobe his props and even after kobe wins will still not give him his due....crazy. I respect pacman for being a very good fighter at those weight classes....really great fighter at those weigh classes and if he beats cotto or floyd then MUCH respect. But we all know that if cotto or floyd beat pacman they won't get their due on that fight. C'mon, we all know.

Oh no they definitely will have to. Not with the way Manny has looked lately. I believe he can perform well and have a shot at 147. But Roach is protecting him so they can clean up on some dough.

I give Cotto his credit. He did what he had to do to win. He clinched a couple of times last night. He also clinched in the corner and turned Clottey. Something that he lacked in the Margarito fight. Trust me I respect Cotto. Just not a fan of his.

Cotto look damaged. There's no way he can stand with Pacquiao. Pacquiao doesn't tire and with all that speed can you imagine what will happen when Cotto goes on to his bike? He stops throwing but he still gets hit. And with Pacquiao's speed this will be over in 6! I mean Pacquiao KOed Hatton and got the same hand back into guard BEFORE HATTON HIT THE GROUND, that's how fast he is.

Hatton? Enough said. That's like me bringing OJ as a character witness.
