Terribe, terrible article, lol and the guy comes off with such confidence "Let's say this right off the top – Miguel Cotto received a gift tonight.". Clottey is a careless or dirty fighter whatever you want to call it. Cotto dropped Clottey iwth a jab man, a jab . The reason why this fight was o close was because Cotto had a deep cut just above his eye due to a headbutt not a punch. How can you say he got a gift? Why don't you acknowledge his demeanor to stay cool and not complained while Clottey was trying to get some point deductions to win his fight and maybe even trying to get out of the fight after that flop, man give me a break this guy sucks and is biased against a real warrior. Apparently he likes cry babies that use shell defenses.

on top of all this I truly believe Cotto won this fight and if anything he was the one robbed of a UD.

I first seen Clottley fight when he was fighting in the UK and i always thought he was a dirty fighter. Finally headbutting Cotto to open a huge gash to give himself a chance of being in the fight.

Everyone saying look at both men's faces at the end of the fight but Cotto's face was a mess from the cut caused by a butt and other than the cut he wasn't really marked up anywhere else. Well TBH I dont think the headbutts are intentional, I think its just the its just the way he fights.

Watched the first airing of the fight...I was freakin' scared sh**less with the frantic shaking of Cotto's head as he desperately tried to get the blood out of his eye in the fourth...jeez, what a nasty fight. Even before the commentators had said it, I was gettin' flashbacks of Cotto-Margarito.

Good fight overall! Went to bed, woke up, watched it again, tried to score it on my own...this was what I got:

Round 1- Cotto (10-8)
Round 2- Cotto
Round 3- Clottey
Round 4- Cotto
Round 5- Clottey
Round 6- Cotto (unquestionable)
Round 7- Clottey
