I just arrived from work in time for the Cotto fight, but most of my friends told me IronBoy got a gift from the judges. I believe them... Mayol got robbed.

This kind of reminds me of another great lower weight class fighter's career, Ricardo Lopez, long lengthy reign, guys would barely come close to him, then he met Rosendo Alvarez and the fight was a draw due to a cut caused by a headbutt, that was when Lopez was starting to show signs of slippage and people were saying Alvarez was robbed in that one as well, even though I had Lopez winning. Anyways, I wonder if Calderon's career will take the same path, rematch Mayol, win, go up in weight and win a title there before retiring.

I had Calderon winning but he didnt look great. He seemed a bit gun shy and was worried about clashing heads before it even happened. Cut was pretty bad, similar to Barrera's but smaller and less blood gushing out. He seemed really bothered by it.

Did it happen in the first round too ?

Mayol the first to blemish Calderon's record with a draw. I didn't see the fight, Im sure the judges would be biased towards Calderon being in New York. They have to rematch.
