I think Kirkland would break his will with his constant offense and Clottey's lack there of.

Well this post may be pointless anyway. It would be a good match up but Kirkland's done.

You mean a decade from now when Kirkland hit the street again?

Well, that's why to me it's interesting to see how Kirkland would match up with both Cotto and Clottey. He will probably end up as one of those could've been cases. Me, personally I think Kirkland would beat both. But he's bigger than both guys, so that's understandable. At first, I thought Kirkland was a hype job because of his lack of defense, but the way he blew out Joel Julio and Brian Vera won me over as a believer.

Kirkland is a good fighter but I'm still not liking his defense. He takes too many flush shots but he'll become a beast if he works on that defense.

THe pace he was on b4 he got knocked, was great. He really was improving.. sure he still got caught coming in, but that was because he wanted to get into the chest of Julio.. and he still took Julio's shots fairly well..

Just can't wait for his return next year.. he is gonna need about 3 fights before he can compete for a belt.. if he hadn't gotten into this mess..Think he would've fought Pwill next year..
