What I don't get about Floyd punk fans...

A lot of Floyd stans only like black fighters

Ricans love Cotto and hate on Mayweather

Its like if your a Floyd fan you've got to dislike Cotto and Pac

If your a rican you've got to dislike Floyd and Margarito

If your a Pinoy you've got to worship Pac and hate on Mayweather

Too many fans of boxers, not the sport and far too much hate

Mind me a Rican Floyd fan or a Pinoy Floyd fan on this site

On the flip side,

if one is just a boxing fan period, as I am,

race has no bearing on who is liked or not.


I'm Mexican, but many times I've rooted or picked against the Mexican fighter because I'm not that fond of them, JMM, or felt they were in a bad style matchup, Mijares.

Then, you get ****s like Margarito who cheated the sport who should get no respect or love from anyone.

Yeah... I like me a bit of banter and the place would be dull without conflict but it's got waaay out of hand...

The thing is, this is happening all over the net. A few years ago there were less children around but here in '09 they seem to pretty much run **** online

And another thing -- they'll support all other fighters who slightly resemble Floyd:

Williams, Bradley, etc. Basically anyone young and black with a shaved head. Oh, and Bernard Hopkins.

People hate Fraud jr because he talks like a pitbull but fights like a **** tzsu.
Then he has the nerve to say he's the greatest of all time when his best name on his resume are old oscar,corrales, & hatton.

I guarantee u if Fraud jr. was not american he'd be another joe calzaghe, mikkel kessler, or zsolt erdai.

He's a very very good fighter, but what makes him supposedly "great" & legendary is his fake wanksta personality & he's american.

I doubt that if Fraud jr was american white instead of american black he would have the support of young white guys like he has the support of young black guys.

Exactly, i agree but Floyd fans are no different to Cotto or Pac fans

A lot of Floyd fans will like him because he's African American

I couldn't give a **** if he was asian or Mexican, as long as he had the same style and was as good as he is then i'll always be a fan, unless he cheats or if he doesn't fight Cotto, Mosley or Pac in his next fight
