It is cute that you think this is what it is all about. My whole point is about the intent of his phrase which you completely overlook and just see what you want to see. I have laid out why I am OK with HIM saying HE is the best, because that is his own self view and he has put a **** ton of work into his career. If someone else was to say that they would be wrong.

I cheer for people I can relate to.

It just so happens that Frazier, Taylor, Hopkins, Chambers, Cunningham, Qawi, Perez, and many others come from the same City I came from.

Therefore I identify with them and cheer for them the most.

That said, I cheer almost as hard for Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera (back in the day), Israel Vazquez, Joan Guzman, Pernell Whitaker (back in the day), and many, many others over the years.

Just felt like throwing that out there, since for a while there, this thread was focused on what type of fan certain people were.

As for Floyd.

He will never be oscar or sugar ray leonard. He could, he definitely has the talent, skill, & still youth on his side. But his unwillingness to take on great opposition plus his putrid persona make it impossible.

Look at oscar, people still love him. They still love to see him fight. Thats because he took on murderous opposition. Win or lose nobody can accuse oscar of ducking including margarito or cotto. Same thing with ray leonard.

I can accept people that don't like Floyd because their views don't effect me and in the end only help my aim (a better betting line on Floyd). You on the other end seem to have a mind as narrow a needle because you can not accept what you do not like.

People who disagree with me are just the opposite side of a bet, to me nothing more.
