Sugar Shane deserves to be the fighter of the year,the way he destroyed Margarito ,that was note worthy and the way he knocked out Mayorga in the last few seconds classless.

I do not think Manny deserved to be fighter of the year.He beat Oscar whom everyone called washed up.Oscar took a beating from Forbes and Forbes is not an elite fighter.Manny beats him and he's called fighter of the year,isnt that crazy.You add Hatton to it,come on,didnt people call Hatton washed up?

Since when do people become fighter of the year for beating washed up fighters.

As for trainer of the year,Brother Naseem deserves the shot.He trained Mosley and Hopkins for that one sided assassination of Pavlik.Pavlik was always going to be a dangerous fight.

As for Roach becoming fighter of the year,that's for reasons beyond boxing

ur bias poster. First this is for the 2008 fighter of the yeat mosley beat margarito in 2009. So dat dont make sense. Also mosley looked bad against mayorga who he was possed to do it alot easier. Tito kod mayorga after a 3 year layoff the first one to do it in the 8th or 9th round then delahoya did it 4th or 5th and it takes mosley 12 rounds and alot of people say he woulda lost if it wasnt for the knockdowns. Mayorga was hitting him alot and winning lots of rounds. Even though delahoya is nothing close to being his former self but still every one and u no its true was picking him to beat manny so dont front they said hes way bigger and will ko him. And manny destroyed him he deserves fighter of the year he moved up like 2 or 3 weight classes during the 2008 year. So you fail!!!

I think so too.

Everybody claimed Tony was a beast and the most feared man in boxing..especially after destroying Cotto.

Not many gave Shane a chance...most said he'd get steamrolled.

Tony had never been KO..to stop him in such spectacular fashioncaught everybody off guard.

Plus Tony was a Champion.


Oscar's dried-up ass didn't have **** but a name when Fanny beat him...and Hatton had already been tenderized by Floyd.

I'm not taking anything away from Shane's win, there is just no way that means more than dominant stoppage wins over DLH and Hatton back to back. No way.
