Clottey needs a stationary target to be at his most effective.

When has Cotto shown himself to be stationary?

Clottey couldn't even KO a shot, blown up, at the end of his fighting career Diego Corrales.

What makes you think he's knocking out Cotto?

This fight is a 12 round decision if I've ever saw one.

How the hell is CLottey a better fighter than Cotto? Because that's what you're saying when you say he's "greater than" him.

Clottey doesn't do **** that Cotto doesn't do better. He's not a notoriously hard puncher, his workrate is a bit overblown around here (he does take breaks throughout the fight), his boxing ability is below Cotto's, etc...

The only advantage I give Clottey over Cotto is a slight edge in the defensive category.

But one advantage doesn't exactly make for a "greater" fighter.

I know my boxing and I think this is a 50-50 fight. The thing is Cotto is very hittable, Clottey throws eye catching shots.

Some people remind me of the people that were betting me huge sums on Lennox-Tyson. Every conversation at the party went like this.

Some dude "Man Tyson is gong to kill Lennox, that ***** brit can't take teh heat Tyson will bring"

Some dude "hell yea I will bet any ammount on Tyson, how much do you want to bet"

Me "I will bet any ammount you want" (flashing some money so the dude would know I wasn't bull****ting)

Some Dude "Alright your on I will bet $$$$, I am taking your money"

Me "cool I look forward to the fight"

This conversation repeated itself often on that night.
