Well, the whole wrap thing could have played on Margarito's mind and they made him mentally weaker in the Mosley fight. If he had the wraps in the Cotto fight he could have had the mental edge from having the wraps. The brain is can be a a point of great strength or great weakness (sometimes all at the same time).

So he's saying that Margarito is the superior fighter, when in the Mosley-Margarito interviews he said that Cotto was the most superior and skillful of the two but Margarito won it by heart. Which one is it Shane? Superiority or Heart?

The difference, having stuffed gloves can dramatically change the ebb and flow of the fight. Lets "assume" Margarito's gloves were stuffed against Cotto. Cotto would have felt the difference and automatically become more defensive, not sit down on his punches like he wanted and fought in a retreat mode.

Lets "assume" Cotto caught Margarito beforehand like Shane did and got the pads removed. Margarito being less confident and Cotto being more confident can change the entire course of not only who could win, but also the direction of the fight and also have the mental one up.

you know the more shane opens his mouth the more I lose respect for him. The questions he should be asking is what would have happent he does make ed had richardson not found the wraps or pads and would they have made a difference? He wasnt the one getting hit by those shots so he knows nothing. I do think he makes valid points about Cotto fighting the wrong fight and if he chooses to fight the same way he could lose again. I think Cotto knows this and will come forward much more against Tony if they ever fight again. The other thing I I have a problem with is the fact that Shane seems to be condescending as if he is such a great fighter that the only possible fights for him are Mayweather or Pac. Didnt he just state that he was looking to fight on for some time because he felt good physically, was at the top of his game and enjoyed fighting? Shane needs to stick to fighting and let Schaefer or Oscar do his talking, he is definitely not a smooth talking promoter.
