I agree, the Klitschkos shouldn't do him a favor by letting him have voluntary defense, they should make him earn his shot by fighting Arreola or somebody in an eliminator.
Haye is a *****? After the contract Wlad offered? "If you beat me you gotta fight me or my brother again and if you win that fight you gotta fight me or my brother again!", that makes Haye a *****? Plus the only money Haye was getting is from Setanta... so if they asked for a pay cut he would be getting next to nothing.

The first reply to this thread made sense, I think he had an injury... that is that and nobody is ducking nobody.

So if Haye isn't really injured, I imagine he'll be looking to fight as early as late July or August.

If he were smart, he'd try to get Golden Boy to help him get on a HBO card in a WBC final eliminator against Arreola, so he would become better known in the US.

            Haye

Regardless of whatever financial issues Hay might be having, if he pulled out of what was once considered the greatest prize in sports without an injury then he is a total disgrace to the sport and the history of the sport.

If it is true, and I believe it is, Haye is indeed a total disgrace.

Bankruptcy or “Administration” as Setanta calls it would have negated the contract or contracts that Haye signed with them including anything that was supposed to be ring fenced

DEF; ringfenced funds, that may only be used for a previously specified purpose

Except what if the funds are not there or company is no longer solvent…
The money was ring fenced so that Haye would get paid as long as Setanta stayed afloat but as i said if Setanta went under he would be trying to get the fight onto another TV station why would you call it off with out any attempt to put it on a different broadcaster, this report is wrong. Haye is going in for back treatment on Tuesday why would he do that if he had pulled out due to money. Everyone at Setanta and in the Haye camp are saying he got injured there is no evidence to prove other wise. The only reason Tunney deep down doesn't want Haye to fight the Klits is because he is scared that he could knock one of them out and would have to disown them quickly just as they all did with Pavlik.

He would do that because when you say your back is hurt you have to follow through with the rest of the act to avoid a breach on contract situation.

It's kinda like people who go on Gov't disability who aren't really hurt. They continue going to Doctors, chiropractors etc for checkups so they can continue on their disability payments. The Doctor can't tell them there back is good enough if they profess to being in terrible chronic pain.

Secondly, if Haye were not Hurt, certainly Setanta or Team Haye would be the last two groups of people to admit it. You act like they have no vested interest in covering this up.

For Haye to back out with an injury leaves the door open for a future fight. If he backs out for business reasons he makes a complete joke of himself and his sorry ass promotional outfit. They already proved they were amateurs by being unable to get Stamford Bridge, they would be looking like total morons now if they admitted to calling the fight off because they screwed up the finances.
