I would still be a fan. But I agree with Arum. Floyd puts way too much stock in his undefeated record. It makes him sound a bit silly when he re-iterates that, because chances are if he carries on fighting he will lose that 0.

If Floyd lost while going out on his shield against a guy like Pac or Cotto, he'd be more respected than he currently is with his 0. Fans dont wanna see a fighter play it safe. They wanna see 2 warriors in the ring putting it all on the line. In a fight like that, there really is no loser. Take Marquez/Vasquez for example. Even the loser in those fights are praised!Comment

I'll definitely still be a fan. Floyd is not some prospect who could be "exposed", he's at the tail end of a great career and he is one of, if not the best boxer i've seen in my lifetime
