If he stands and trades in close, he gets lit up. He's gotto throw fast flurries and outbox Clottey. Clottey got the style to beat Cotto if he got the stamina to match. That's been his problem in past fights. If he can come forward and throw all nite instead of stayin in his shell fightin in spots, he's got a UD. I think he can do it.

Wanna bet? Put your points where your mouth is!

Weight dosen't matter when punching and Clottey is not really a big puncher. And putting that much of a weight puts the boxer slower and the bigger Clottey comes to the fight the easier it will be for Cotto to outwork him.

i think cotto will win a close UD with clottey coming on late...clotteys power is overrated and i think cotto will be smart enough to score then get out of harms way...!!!!!!

He was 170 against Corrales and still showed some really good hand speed. We're not gonna act like Clottey isn't gonna be able to land, Clottey is alot faster then Margarito.

he is faster than margarito..but cotto was easily beating him in the early rounds...margarito caught up to cotto by throwing long flurries of punches something clottey does not do at all!!!

Im trying to get this 12round boxing Cotto. Cotto is not going to box 12. Cotto faded in the late round against Rito. Faded in the late rounds against Shane but was able to pull out the win. Guys Cotto can't get out of there, he has a problem. Cotto is talking about going at Clottey. I have to see it to belive it. Maybe Cotto has changed some things up. Some how, Cotto got these off the map boxing skills. Cotto was able to make Rito look bad like other fighters have. Rito is not hard to hit. Cotto hit Rito and ran like hell. Cotto took what ever Rito game him and tired out. (Rito gives you allot.) Cotto was unconfortable going back and over worked himself. Moving post to post is not good ring ship. Never brong the fight back to the center of the ring. Clottey makes you fight a slow paste fight because he counter allot and stays out of punching distance. On the inside, Cotto will get murdered. Cotto would have to hit and move. Cotto comes in behind that snapping jab, throws a flurries of punches and get out. Cotto is not going to box circle around you. Squares up in front of you with ear muff defense, don't move his head, subject to the right hand and uppercuts. Judah has faster hands, feets than Cotto and a better boxer. Clottey had to time Judah, keep him off balance with his left foot on the out side of Judah right foot, to make him step over in order to get out the way. I Can't see Clottey getting a UD. That would go to Cotto, unless Clottey shows allot of offense. It's going to be a good fight. Cotto doesn't protect his body on the inside.

Rito would throw at Cotto body, to stop on the ropes. Once he got cotto to stop, he through punches from different ables. Rito loves to throw wild punche to the ribcage to stop you from running. He did PW the same way in the late rounds. He seen Cotto ducking under his mile away punches and new he was to slow. Look at the Vid and watch Cotto get stuck on the ropes after the body punch in the first round. That was the way Rito was able to trap Cotto.

If the Margarito fight has taken anything out of Cotto, (which I think it has) then he will be in for a long night and will get beat up and lose, but if the Cotto that showed up against Margarito comes, and choses not to trade this time, then he will win.
