yea but he didnt really have anyone around his weight to fight.
like floyd for a long time. ppl say he ducked certain fighters but if u look at where those fighters were at the time floyd was in the division u will clearly see he never ducked anyone. he fought those who were the best guys at the time. then when lots of talent came his way he retired..which was the only bad move of his career.
The **** people say around here.Comment

And? Gomez would have taken that belt from Gatti too, that is why I don't see what the big deal is. Gatti was a bum by the time Floyd got to him. ODLH destroyed Gatti ten years prior to Floyd ever facing Gatti.Comment

Gomez and Jennings are at least LEGIT WELTERWEIGHTS.....Gomez was a fight 5 months after the war with Mosley...called a stay active fight....everyone does that...and Jennings was a fight after he was handed his 1st loss (plus he picked up the vacant WBO title)...at what possibly could've been due to Plaster...
So no...Mayweather being undefeated...all the claims he claims....could NOT get away with fighting Legit Welterweights....
And what was Mayweather's fights against Baldomir and Mitchell? He got away with those...Comment
