Floyd and Cotto have both fought their share of weak fighters...Cotto has a better resume at 147. Floyd's is better P4P tho

yeah, but gomez did nothing for cotto as a tune up for margo as their styles and fortitude had no similarities at all.

atleast baldomir would've forced cotto to recognize that he just couldn't war with guys with indestructible chins and to conserve his energy for later rounds.

I Would've loved to have read those threads about Jones getting KTFO by Tarver. Seems so long ago.
yeah, the atmosphere would be similar if floyd was ever tKOed or quit like cotto.

A case could be made for Roy as well. During his prime, he fought a string of Civic Service Workers.

yea but he didnt really have anyone around his weight to fight.

like floyd for a long time. ppl say he ducked certain fighters but if u look at where those fighters were at the time floyd was in the division u will clearly see he never ducked anyone. he fought those who were the best guys at the time. then when lots of talent came his way he retired..which was the only bad move of his career.

Floyd would take both Gomez and Jennings the distance, so what is your question?

alot of fighters do it and get away with it, floyd could never do that.

                1. because there are too many haters who would say hes ducking evrybody and anybody.

                2. unless the public thinks there is a good chance floyd is gon get his ass whupped pretty much nobody except his fanboys watch the fight.

i mean they had DLH.forbes on 24/7 for ffs. floyd couold never get that kind of interest by his own self.
he already has,why do you think he gets criticised now?

Gatti owned a WBC world title.

Gomez isn't even qualified to own a picture of said title.

boxingscene would look like it did after RJJ got KTFOed by Tarver
Baldomir would have been too much for lil Cotton.
