Team pacq is severley ***ing up the negotiating strategy. By him deciding not to go to the cotto fight, he has already showed his hand as to who he prefers and will likely face. Now they are backtracking after realizing so.

be serious. the only people that wanted cotto/pac was arum and cotto.

pac is too small for cotto.

You guys are being a little too hard on Manny.

What you gotta realize is he's now facing the everday life of a Mega Star and the obligations and responsibilities that come along with the fame only get more enduring (i.e. Mo Money Mo Problems).

But I definitely agree that he should attend the ceremony, it's only right.

I have no doubt he'll be at the Cotto fight (whether that's his next opponent or not). I'm sure the crowd will give him a nice ovation.

            I disagree

I think a lot of people would want to see Pac vs Cotto if Floyd vs Pacquiao doesn't get made this year. Is it a smart move for Pacquiao? Maybe, Maybe Not.

But I gaurantee as many people **** on the fight, they'll also be the same ones watching it. Why do people front about it?

roach ain't gonna let pac fight cotto unless the catchweight is 142. cotto ain't gonna fight pac unless he can weigh 145 lbs at the weigh in.

ricans and pac haters will complain about the catchweight and give pac no credit for the win.

pac-nuthuggers will complain if cotto is a MW on fightnight and pac is a WW and give cotto no credit for the win.

its a no win situation and this fight is better off not happening.

if Floyd vs Pacquiao doesn't get made this year. Is it a smart move for Pacquiao? Maybe, Maybe Not.
definitely not for the reasons named above.

true, but that doesn't mean the fight isn't a mismatch. cotto is just too big for pac.

People look too much into things. They see or read what's in the media like its the gospel truth, but in reality a lot of it is heresay.

People out of nowhere became Back Doctors for David Haye whether they were defending him or trying to call his bluff, but how many of us really know what's good? Probably none.

I cant imagine a single ppv fan not buying a Pacquiao fight or Fraud jr, mosley, & cotto not wanting to fight Pacquiao because he didnt personally attend the fighter of the year ceremonies.

What the **** with him not wanting to attend a ceremony, where he will get the biggest award given to a boxer?

Either he has been wrongfuly advise or he is a traight up idiot!!!!!!!
Or the reports could be complete overkill. Think about it.

If Pacquiao had been anyone else in any other part of the world we would have never got that news. All we would know is that he showed up at the awards show and noone would think any different.
