Not to mention, the amount of gratituted that he owes the media. If his plan for not going is because of his family matter. I believe that family comes first, but if it wasn't for the media, his promoters and his fans...he would still be selling stolen cigarettes wearing two different colors of slippers. That family vacation is always gonna be there, he owes it to the fans and the media to be there to accept the award. Some here says that its just an award. When your in the spotlight you have to accept everything that comes with it. I've defended PACQUIAO on so many different occasions, but this is one situation that he is even pissing me off.

just as i didn't swallow the news all "hook, line and sinker."
i have been following manny and saw his flip-flops every so often.
he's got an outburst, saying and doing things without much thinking.
you should have heard/seen his temper when he was still in his ascent, after the barera fyt.
i was in gensan during his scandals in nyt spots....what a nasty temper he got.
i even had the opportunity to shake his hand when i bumped into him in a resto.
he offered me his ryt hand but i asked for his left thunder.
and he grinned wide....
he just got mellowed after his morales triumph.
good thing salud is with manny....a very decent man and a good lawyer.

Who gives a flying **** if he is getting mob. I respect his hard work, dedication and pride, but his bonehead decision is not only giving him a bad name. He is also making filipinos look like they have no sense of moral obligations. He doesn't need no slacks, being in the spotlight comes with the territory. He will have plenty of time to spend with his family, when he retires. Besides what else does he do when he is not fighting. Maybe he can lessen some of his television exposure in the Philippines and spend time with his family then, bottomline is the money he is making is from the states not in the philippines.
Wow, Great post coming from a filipino fan..

It will be televised live on gofightlive.tv for free, from 6 to 10:30 pm, don't know if the time is Pacific, Mountain, or Eastern though...

You're talking about a different Salud, the honorable and respectable Salud is Rodrigo "Rudy" Salud, Pacman's with Rex "Wakee" Salud...

Good of Pacman to take this, Its an honour and whatever he would be doing otherwise wouldn't be as grandious.
