Billy Conn danced and outboxed Louis until he got caught for getting too brave in the 13th. Ali is better than Conn in almost every aspect. Ali in his prime (pre forced retirement) outboxes Louis to a UD.

styles make fights. ali wouldnt stand in front of louis long enough for him to land those short powerful punches. ali would be too quick and too smart. wouldve danced circles around louis and outpointed him. ali by UD or on cuts.

I think Ali outboxes him an wins a fairly easy decision. Joe would have got to him at stages with his power combinations but Ali had the chin to ride out those moments and dominate most of the rounds with his superior footwork and handspeed.
