Life is littered with people who do things because they feel like.A child does not feel like going to school because he feels like watching tv.School is good for the child and he has to go to school.Manny could take his family with him and still fulfil his obligations. To who much is given much is required,it's called responsibility.

We all have to do it,you try spending all the time you have with your family and see how big your paycheque will be month end.We all have to do things we dont feel like because some of them are good for us.

I'm certain they're trying to make him change his mind or have him explain the reasons on why he opts not to attend.

I'd like to hear his explanation.

We'll likely hear about his decision soon.

I beg to differ. Spending most time doing what other people tell you is good for you, is far from wise. Money pays for your lifestyle not your life. But your time is your life. Pac can always do the interviews through satellite. He can get Arum or Roach to collect his award. He does not need to be there physically to do these media conferences, technology allows for this.

He's earned the right to go where he wants?

Unlike most fighters he isn't in it for just the money & fame. He's in it for his country, for his people. He's a symbol of hope, no amount of money can buy you that kind of accalation.
There are also consequences when you dont be where you are supposed to be by people honoring you. In sports this is a huge deal, i can understand musicians and actors, but in sports, this is a no no, no matter what hes in it for, the moment you accept sponsers, you are a face to that sponsership, in this case hes being honored, when you snub those people, they tend to pay you back on that front, its really in his best interest to go.

I think that he should go but he can do whatever he wants.

He's probably not going because he knows Shane is sitting around waiting for him somewhere in the airport looking to challenge him face to face.

              That's just my guess.

I hope Mayweather can put a stop to this Global Superstar nonsense otherwise it'll be 30+ years of Manny acting like a messiah.

Even though pac is a grown man i also think he should try and make it to the awards, The media would try to tear him down if he doesnt make it and the guy is really hot right now so he should maintain his relationship with the media in that way.

This is how he makes his money and he better realise that.

                      he better go.

it's to help set up his future fights which means more money for him.

the more exposure you get , the more money he'll make.

he needs to understand it's a business. act more professional.
