wtf? he was the definition of technique at the hw level. I don't know if there ever was a boxer in the hw division that had such an amazing combination of defensive and offensive technique.
Your manager definitley doesn't know his boxing.Last edited by -Swizzy-; 06-10-2009, 01:42 AM.Comment

lol. this kind of thing happens to me all the time. once my friend when describing dlh said "he's like rocky. he takes a lot of hits but has no real boxing skills and just wins on over coming the punishment." I was so mind boggled that I thought my head was going to explode.Ignorance at its best.
Like today when I asked my buddy what he thought about Cotto-Clottey...
He said, I don't think Clotteys chin is as good as Cotto's, I think Cotto knocks him out.
I was like, well considering Cotto was floored at 140, rocked by Judah, and forced to take two knees by Margarito... where Clottey hasnt been rocked and went toe to toe with Margarito.... uhhhhh Id probably have to disagree...
He goes, oh well I didn't know all that.
No, apparently not.Comment

The video should be in the video section on here, If not there was a DL of the fight posted on here a few days ago, Clottey was rocked in the 8th round of the fight. He must be watching clips on Tyson's knockouts. No way was Tyson going to be at a loss of technique when he was trained by Atlas and Rooney. And he if coarse had Cus D Mato schooling him.
Really? How bad, because no one seems to mention this. Do you have a link to the fight, someone gave me a link a while ago, but I lost it.Comment
