I really like Smoger because he lets them fight unlike other refs. Kenny Bayless is good too. Hopefully, Mercante doesn't let Clottey use that big-ass head of his as much.

I don't like this ref that much. He pissed me off in the cotto-judah fight. When judah got punched on the nuts...this dude (ref) was tellin judah "cmon judah ur a professional..shake it off".

but for real....professional or not....if u get hit in the balls..u need time to recover...most refs quickly say "you got 5mins".

and in the corner when he was about to say something to judah....he squeezed the mic to avoid the audio from being recorded.......i think merchant touched on that.

very very good referee just like his old man. Can get a little full of himself sometimes, but overall one of the best referees in the game along with kenny bayless & steve smoger.
