The reason I make this question is simple: The reality is who needs who? Let's make it clear PFM will get the others (Cotto,SSM,PW) just as much of not even more recognition and money as if they were to fight Manny.So why people are under the impression that the welterweights need Pacquiao? Why do they need to agree on a "catch weight"? if you can fight at WW then fine, stay on Jnr. WW....not a knock on Pacquiao....I like the guy but all this "demands" of where and how they are going to fight, now even asking for the weight in to be the same day OF THE FIGHT,WTF is that? is you can fight them then don't do it, if you think like Freddie Roach that he will beat them....THEN DO IT, but stop making so many stipulations...listen the WW division don't need Manny,but now let's think about this for a minute.....If he doesn't fight this guys,who will he fight? Valero,JMM, who? Will those fights give him the money he will be looking for? OF COURSE NOT! So please let's stop with all this non sense, about Manny calling the shots.....HE IS NOT THE ONLY CASH COW OF THE SPORT.....and this is coming from someone who hates Gayweather but is the truth. The WW is the most talented and exiting division with out Manny, does it make it better with him? OF COURSE IT DOES.....But if you want to fight on equal ground not by making the "MANNY RULES".
