Is Cotto more popular in NYC than Tito?

He seems to be spending lots of time there, has had many big fights in the city, especially on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day parade and seems to be loved by all the fans. Is he now a bigger name in NYC than Tito Trinidad?

This is kind of a ***ed up question!

It's like asking your mother, who she loves more, you or your sister?

    To answer your question: No

But he's one of ours and we love him just the same..

I don't think it will be fair to compare the 2, but at this moment he defiantly is.....Overall- I don't think anyone could be more beloved on N.Y.C. than Tito....No ONE.....either Rican or whatever....PERIOD!

P.S. Cotto is a better fighter....just my opinion.

Anyone who voted for Cotto are FANBOYS who never watched boxing before 2003

Trinidad had an ARMY of fans behind him, nothin against Cotto but **** Trinidad had the whole damn country behind him, look at when Tito went back to P.R after the De La Hoya fight...

The answer is hell no, I was in the 5th grade when Tito was hot over here and people wouldn't stop talking about him. Dude got all the spotlight, reason why I said, B-Hop beating Tito was a huge upset over here. I hardly hear people mention Cotto, they do but not nearly as much as Tito.

Looks can be deceiving but in this case you are right........Just for the Record I'm not a "fan boy"....I love the sport and the sweet science of it.....I just go by the "facts" which seems to be a rare commodity on this forum......enough said!

I would believe that Tito is more popular in and outside of NY than Cotto.
