I think he'll take a fairly comfortable decision.

McCloskey has built up a good record at British level.

While beating the best of the UK domestic scene isn't a great achievement, it's worth remembering that M'baye has lost to and struggled with a similar calibre of British level guys. He had a close one with Barrie Jones and even lost to Gavin Rees, who is not world class and was much smaller than M'baye.

I think he lost to Barrie Jones.

McCloskey will destroy him, M'Baye may have been a good fighter once upon at time, but I have never really seen it. He's arguably lost every single time I've seen him. McCloskey impressed me, he is slick, doesn't get hit too much and has great poise.

I thought M'Baye might be a guy Warren would throw in Kell Brook against and make him look like a million dollars against a world-ranked guy.

This is a interesting fight. McCloskey is in the prime of his career, he's lookng better each time he fights and is improving with every fight. Every time I have seen him fight he has impressed me.

He has his hands low, has sound reflexes and is heavy handed. He recently stopped former European champion Colin Lynes, which is no easy feat. Lynes once took Junior Witter 12 hard rounds, and the fight before McCloskey had took the 40-2 Gianluca Branco to a razor thin decision, in which alot of people thought he got.

Souleymane M'baye is now 34 years of age and I think he best days in the prize ring are gone. In his last outing he really struggled with the little known Barrie Jones from Wales and most thought Jones had won.

Do M'baye is still no pushover, he is a former WBA World light welterweight champion, who holds a win over Andriy Kotelnik. And only a year ago give Herman Ngoudjo all he could handle. So as I have proven with M'baye expirence this is a fight he can win, but judging by his last display and his age.

I feel this is a fight McCloskey can win and make statement and carry on to impress and hopefully down the line get a crack a World Title.

I fancy McCloskey to stop him late by TKO. He's pretty underated, has good speed and reflexes, decent pop and M'baye is past his best.
I'd like to see McCloskey v Khan for the world title if he can beat Kotelnik. Would be a good domestic scrap if Warren allows it.
